NVIDIA今(9)日宣布將攜手賓士 (Mercedes-Benz) 推出搭載 NVIDIA 人工智慧 (AI)汽車進入市場，預計於 12 個月內上路。
NVIDIA表示，這項計畫著重於深度學習及人工智慧的研發，為雙方正在進行合作的一部分 ；NVIDIA指出深度學習技術的突破發生於多年前，並從此顛覆運算的型態，從最早和手機說話，到現在拍照上傳至雲端後將會自動為照片附上標籤並保存等等，NVIDIA期望將與賓士對人工智慧車有著共同的願景， AI 將徹底顛覆汽車未來的樣貌。
NVIDIA 共同創辦人暨執行長黃仁勳表示：「這項合作始於三年前，雙方團隊接觸後便立即產生化學效應，我們對於人工智慧將如何改變駕駛經驗抱持共同的願景，並相信這將讓駕駛變得更加享受。毫無疑問地，人工智慧將是未來運算的主角，而這項合作案推薦產品所研發出的成果將於明年上路，相當驚人。」
賓士數位車與運輸部門副總裁 Sajjad Khan 表示：「對於這次與 NVIDIA 的合作能在未來 12 個月內推出產品，我們感到相當驕傲。我們彼此的團隊進駐於對方據點深化合作，在加州 Sunnyvale 賓士設有辦公室，在德國斯圖加特NVIDIA 也有自己的辦公室。」
南韓電子大廠三星今 (8) 日傳出中國天津電池廠發生火災，公司表示影響不大，未波及產線，由於該廠區為三星旗艦智慧手機主要電池供應商，市場高度關注是否衝擊三星 S8 新機出貨，預料台灣廠商恐無轉單效應，相關訂單短期內可能由日商承接。
三星甫因 Note 7 發生電池爆炸事件，造成智慧手機業務遭受嚴重衝擊，公司與市場高度關注 S8 新機是否能帶動三星一掃 Note 7 陰霾。一旦此次三星天津電池廠火災導致 S8 出貨受影響，對三星與整個供應鏈影響不小。
市場認為，三星為確保 S8 出貨，可能會將受影響的部分轉給日廠生產。至於台灣電池廠包括新普 (6121-TW) 等在內，因為早已不接三星訂單，預料本次難有轉單效應。
新浪科技報導，南韓三星集團旗下的三星 SDI 位於天津的工廠，今日上午發生火災，公司也證實確有火災，沒有人員傷亡，也不影響生產作業。
法人指出，目前台灣電池廠的手機電池訂單，主要還是以供應蘋果 (AAPL-TW) 為主，至於三星，由於價格真的不好，台廠早就陸續退網路熱賣產品出其供應鏈。
